Chinchillas should not be bathed in water, in there natural habitat they use fine mineral sands. Dacomas Chinchilla Dusting Powder is manufactured from the finest sepiolite clays from Spain and match exactly those found in the natural environment. Sand,Limestone,Talc or Fullers Earth which are sometimes suggested are not suitable and could cause serious health problems. Regular baths with Chinchilla Dusting Powder kepp fur in peak condition and free from excessive dirt and grease.
Use Fill metal box to 50mm depth, leave in cage for 10 to 15 minutes as a daily routine.
